Responsible for maintaining entire kitchen in a clean and orderly manner.

Other Job Tasks:

  • Washes pots, pans, tableware, flatware, and glassware etc. either manually or with automatic equipment.
  • Cleans heavy equipment such as ranges, mixers, slicers etc.
  • Performs ware-washing skills in a safe and orderly manner.
  • Assists culinary staff in food prep using all sanitation guidelines as outlined by the Division of Hotels and Restaurants Health Department
  • Transports food and equipment to assigned location.
  • Disposes garbage in a safe and orderly manner.
  • Handles china, glass and silver properly.
  • Able to distinguish the different types of chemicals used in the Department.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekdays, holidays and weekends. Must be able to work 4:00PM to 12:00AM
