Job Description

Responsible for dropping BV’s from the slot machines. Accurately counting the funds from Table Games, Slots, Kiosks, and F&B.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Maintains a positive attitude at all times, supporting the policies of Ameristar Casino.

· Must maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential information disclosed by an Ameristar entity.

· Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures, including but not limited to: Standards of Conduct, attendance, appearance, cash handling, confidentiality, safety, and sanitation.

· Drop bill validators from the slot machines.

· Counting the revenues from all departments in the casino, both gaming and nongaming.

· Completing reported drop totals accurately.

· Proper transport of reported numbers to the audit department and IRGC. 

Job Requirements

Required Knowledge and Skills:

· Attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to work and communicate effectively with little supervision or as a team.

· Ability to follow all policies and procedures including but not limited to attendance, appearance, safety, and security policies

· Ability to identify circumstances or incidents that require the notification and/or approval of others

· Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

· Ability to work at a fast pace with a sense of urgency

· Excellent Guest service skills; maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate friendliness and enthusiasm

· Ability to meet physical requirements of the job, including standing for long periods of time

Required Education and Work Experience:

Cash handling experience preferred

Prefer some previous knowledge of slots and casinos
