2) Lead, direct and manage performance growth of Affinity Team Sales Network
3) Manage strategic accounts sales growth and performance for select top accounts
Ø National Group Sales
· Lead, coach and direct the daily strategic direction, support and guidance for all aspects of national group sales.
· Develop well founded business objectives, goals and operating budgets by national sales office and ensure execution and performance in line with designated targets
· Ensure the National Sales team works to continuously promote the DHR collection of hotels and resorts and serve as the Brand Champions within the group and meetings segments
· Develop and deploy strategic selling solutions that provide a distinctive brand identity in the marketplace and position DH&R at a competitive advantage related to above property group sales and marketing efforts
· Continuously analyze and improve NSO reporting tools, resource information and business intelligence data to ensure optimum deployment against markets, territories and accounts
· Provide actionable and measurable recommendations to address all needs and issues relating to national sales and marketing
· Lead and direct strategic account and vertical industry segment sales strategies to ensure DH&R establishes preferred relationships and maximizes market share penetration into premium hospitality accounts
· Manage the coordination and execution for DH&R and the portfolio of properties for primary industry tradeshow representation, advisory councils, customer events and sales missions
· Continuously assess booking trends and identify emerging markets. Develop organizational deployment plans and actions to ensure optimization of revenue generating opportunities within national group and meetings markets
· Maintain membership and or assume a leadership role in industry organizations to generate increased visibility for DH&R as appropriate
Ø Affinity Team Sales
· Oversee the increase of revenues generated within strategic vertical industries across the portfolio by managing the collective direct sales efforts of property based sales managers from like industry deployments
· Lead, coach and mentor the affinity team network leadership group towards improved business plan development, execution and measurement for designated vertical segments.
· Work with the VP of Sales to continuously analyze booking trends, BI reports and industry resources to coordinate property based deployments and business plans which minimize sales activity overlap and expands proactive direct sales reach
· Continuously analyze and improve Affinity Team reporting tools and performance metrics to support buy0in and participation from all levels fo the organization
· Manage and continuously evolve industry advisory councils in select business segments which can provide DH&R customer preference and valuable industry intelligence.
· Direct the network of National and Affinity team sales to execute targeted direct sales missions in primary and tertiary source markets
Ø Strategic Account Sales
· Manage the revenue production and market share growth from with select accounts identified to be strategically imperative for the portfolio of hotels and resorts.
· Map assigned accounts to identify all buyer types within the organization, and to develop driect sales plans to generate revenue from both new and existing sources of group business within the account
· Develop annual account business plans and goals for assigned accounts and manage performance in collaboration with the designated account's executive leadership as appropriate
· Develop and manage an account team made up of key stakeholders across organizational boundaries as appropriate to optimize revenue production, account share, and customer preference
· Assists property Sales Managers in closing business as needed
· Coordinate FAM's, customer appreciation events and direct sales opportunities within sales missions for assigned strategic accounts
