Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine and Sous chef, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
* Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
* Must be able to read and write English to descipher preparation lists
* Have knowledge of properly storing, rotating and maintaining products according to Servesafe standards. Mantain Health department minimal standards in regard to food supply.
* Have the ability to clean and maintain all kitchen equipment.
* Must be able to work any and all shifts.
* Keep production of food at an adequate level which does not result in excessive leftovers and waste.
* Has a solid knowledge of meat identification and cookery i.e. various cuts of pork, veal, lamb, poultry and corresponding cooking techniques i.e. brasing, grilling, roasting, pan frying, sauteing, accurate knowledge of cooking temperatures for degrees of doneness-rare to well done

* Highschool diploma
* Must speak, read and write English
* Intermediate skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
* Must have a California Food Handler Card
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
* Constant standing and walking throughout shift
Visa Requirements: All candidates must be in possession if identification proving authorization to work in the United States as defined in the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA).
