The Marriott Key Largo Bay Beach Resort is located on 17 lush waterfront acres of paradise in Key Largo. We have over 13,000 square feet of flexible meeting and banquet space totaling 11 rooms, many with waterfront views. The hotel features 3 food and beverage outlets, a full service on site dive shop and day spa.
The resort is managed by Ocean Properties, Ltd. with over 100 properties throughout the United States and Canada.
The company is seeking an experienced Banquet Manager to maximize the satisfaction, service and overall experience of our guests. .
Job Requirements:
The Banquet Manager is responsible for the leadership and coordination of all banquet activities, from set up of banquet space, to serving events, break down the rooms as well as ensuring the hotel displays and outstanding level of quality service.
Essential Functions:
Communicates effectively and genuinely with guests, team members and other departments.
Maintains a friendly and caring demeanor at all times in a fast paced environment.
Maintains a professional image at all times that falls within the hotel and company guidelines for appearance and dress.
Demonstrate team work by co-operating and assisting colleagues as needed.
Maintains a house bank and keeps an accurate report of daily receipts and deposits.
Resolve guest complaints to the satisfaction of the customer by being guest centric, friendly and caring.
Be intuitive to guest needs, anticipates needs in job performance, being proactive instead of reactive.
