Job Description
Job Title: Banquet Server

Department: Banquets

Reports to: Banquet Manager, Assistant Banquet Manager, Banquet Captain

Basic Purpose:
To serve food and beverages to hotel guests according to BEO specifications. Complete all daily and future banquet set ups, i.e. coffee breaks, lunches, receptions. To clean and maintain all Banquet equipment and work space. To promote hospitality and adhere to all departmental policies and procedures in a safe, accident-free manner.

Essential Functions:
1. Serve food and beverages according to BEO specifications and Manager's instructions. Set functions for future events. (65%)
2. Breakdown/re-set and maintain all banquet events. (20%)
3. Clean all meeting rooms, banquet function areas, banquet equipment and banquet
kitchen work area. (10%)
Non-Essential Functions:
1. Assist Banquet Captain with quarterly inventories and other work related projects. (5%)

Knowledge and Skills:
Education: High School education or equivalent experience.
Experience: One year of Banquet Server experience preferred.
Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
Skills and Abilities: Communication (English) skills and hospitality skills required.
Knowledge of Food Handlers guidelines and training.
Full knowledge of state liquor laws and completion of T.I.P.s
training.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably.
