Job Description
The Omni Amelia Island Plantation is currently seeking a
Reservations Manager. The Ideal candidate will provide
the lead in group reservations leading a team of group
reservations coordinators. As a key position of our
reservations department, the successful candidate will
provide an important role in pre function client
interaction. This position will provide support to our
group and national sales, catering & convention
managers. This position will support sales and catering
in maximizing group satisfaction with reservation
processes through communication and resolution.
Essential Functions:
* Ensure, through constant interactions with the sales
department and convention services, that all group
bookings are handled and processed efficiently.
* Oversee Group Rooms Coordinators
* Set up and monitor billing arrangements for
conference/group attendees as instructed by the
group contact.
* Meet and correspond with meeting planners as
necessary.
* Assist the Director of Revenue Management and
Director of Sales
* Review and process bill reviews and commissions
* Monitor phone-calls and assist associates as needed
* Monitor internet bookings, availability and billing
Pre assign group rooms demand
* Review group blocks for cut off date, extensions and
ensuring the blocks are set the cover pre and post
the group
Act as property MRC (Delphi)
Respond to guest inquiries such as reservations, no
show disputes, etc.

Job Requirements
* 2+ years previous hotel experience,
* 1 year in reservations or front office
* HS diploma required
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Posses high level of verbal and written
communication skills.
* Strong communication skills
* Good judgment and problem solving skills.
* Effective time management skills and multitasking
capabilities
* Experience with hotel revenue management strategies
