Job Description
To assure all customers are courteously served with their purchases in a clean and attractive environment.
Guest Service Requirement
Our philosophy at Cactus Petes is to proudly deliver a quality customer experience in a fun and friendly atmosphere, while working together to provide our team members with personal and professional growth opportunities. Because of this philosophy, it is critical that all team members understand the importance of excellent guest service.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Properly record all transactions in the Point-of-Sale system
* Accurately handle all cash, checks, credit card, gift certificates and comp transactions.
* Maintain on a daily basis a high level of cleanliness in the gift shop.
* Unpack, stock and price all merchandise in the shop as needed; ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
* Assist in stocking and recording stock for all vending machines.
* Straighten, dust, and organize gift shop when there are no guests in the gift shop.
* Greet guests at the entrance to the gift shop to encourage them to come in and look around when there are no other duties to perform.
* Responsible for knowing all new policies and procedures in the Gift Shop.
* Adhere to all policies and procedures for the Gift Shop.
* Complete physical inventory each month requiring lifting, counting and using a stepladder.
* Merchandise Product and new arrivals.
* Repack merchandise as season change, accurately recording merchandise as it is packed.
Job Requirements
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Competent in the use of a computer and Microsoft Office
