Empress Lounge offers signature martinis, cocktails, wines, champagnes, sakes, cognacs and teas. On the weekends, we showcase DC's top jazz vocalists from 8pm to midnight. Visit here for a full schedule of performers. Thursday-Sunday from 2:30pm-4:30pm, indulge your sweet tooth with a selection of artistically crafted cakes, cremes and tarts and mouth-watering scones. The desserts are accompanied by an international menu of rare teas and coffee blends.
We are currently looking for a cocktail server to work in our Empress Lounge.
Job Requirements:
-Minimum of 2 years experience as cocktail server in an upscale hospitality environment.
-Must have good organizational skills.
-Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include AM's, PM's, holidays and weekends.
-Must have excellent communication skills.
-Must have an excellent knowledge of food and preparation.
-Must be able to carry multiple items in hand and keep on pace with business volumes.
-Must be able to walk back and forth for a minimum of 5 hours straight.
-Must have the ability to to handle multiple tasks at one time.
