Here are a few details about this Bright opportunity:

Position Summary

This position is ideal for someone who can handle writing, distribution, analysis and reporting of content in search sites to give us a competitive edge in product representation.  Our person must have an eye for accuracy and a need for locating those perfect opportunities that will give us a leg up on the competition.  The SEO Analyst would also be capable of managing the local content distribution process and be proactive in identifying any problems as well as providing us with the research and analysis needed to effectively create and implement timely solutions.

Essential Job Functions

You will be the bridge between multiple departments updating them with new content or optimization opportunities.  Our ideal Analyst will be able to maintain, distribute and optimize both automated and non-automated content feeds to search engines and content distribution channels.  At La Quinta, we like to be seen in our communities so part of your responsibility would be to analyze local search presence for individual and company hotels for content and revenue improvement opportunities and then write, produce and present reports on your analysis.  Be proactive in identifying problems and opportunities through site performance metrics followed by testing and making corrections in applicable processes and systems.  And because we have to stay current, maintaining continued knowledge of local search site enhancements is an absolute must.

Education/Experience

Minimum Education:
* Bachelor's Degree required; preferred in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Communication or related fields

Minimum Experience:
* Two to three years of SEO experience required
* Excellent Internet and computer skills with experience in understanding of search engines and SEO
* Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office 2007 or better with advanced skills in Excel
* Basic Photoshop experience

 

Minimum Skill Requirements:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* An organized individual with a hawk eye for detail and focus on quality of results
