Job Description

Position Summary:
To provide cashiering services for patrons of Starbucks and make the beverages ordered. Ensure the pastry and display shelves are stocked.
Essential Functions:
* Adhere to guest service requirement listed above.
* Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
* This is a uniformed position, which requires that team member’s are in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty.
* Receive cash or credit card from customers in payment for goods or services.
* Make beverages according to Starbucks standards.
* Compute bills on P.O.S. System or adding machine, make change, and issue receipt.
* May be required to know value of menu items.
* May give cash refunds or credit memorandums as directed by Supervisor/Manager.
* Ensure that Service Quality and Standards are followed.
* Answer any guest related questions in the Ameristar Standard.
* Answer telephone in a professional manner.
Job Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* Previous cash handling experience is helpful.
* Must have excellent guest service skills
* Able to operate a P.O.S. System and/or adding machine and make change
* Must have basic math skills
* Must be very friendly and outgoing.
