Hotel Careers with Windsor Capital Group, Inc.
Windsor Capital Group, Inc. is a privately owned hotel ownership and hotel management company with corporate offices based in Santa Monica California. The Company owns and operates 22 hotels; eighteen Embassy Suites Hotels, one full-service Marriott Hotel, one Marriott Courtyards, one Renaissance Hotel, and one Crowne Plaza Hotel. Seven Embassy Suites were developed by the Company. Eleven were acquisitions of existing hotel properties. The majority of the acquired properties were conversions and upgrades of existing properties that were either underperforming assets or in foreclosure/bankruptcy. All of the hotels were developed/acquired in debt and equity joint ventures. The latest hotel acquisitions are the Embassy Suites Hotel Denver Downtown Convention Center and the Crowne Plaza Hotel -West Palm Beach Florida both of which are under management contracts. The Crowne Plaza Hotel will be converting to an Embassy Suites Hotel in early 2012.

The Company has extensive experience in the development and management of shopping centers and other commercial buildings. Included in its development portfolio were almost 1.5 million square feet of retail space, over 500,000 square feet of office space, and the first Embassy Suites Hotel in Colorado.

WCG has not only survived but has prospered during the time when most other industry players struggled in the early 1990's. Since 1991, the Company's hotel portfolio NOI increased from $10,000,000 to over $44,000,000 in 2000. During that same period, the Company developed very sophisticated and highly automated accounting and management information systems which greatly contributed to making WCG one of the industry's most profitable management companies.

Over the course of the Company's history it has established a hotel portfolio valued in excess of $550 million. This portfolio was created by establishing relationships with many financial institutions including banks, savings and loans, credit companies, insurance and refinancing with Starwood Capital, Greenwich Capital, Nomura, Kemper Investors Life Insurance Company, Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance, Lehman Brothers, Heller Financial Services, Olympus Real Estate, Lend Lease and Deutsche Bank.

To operate its hotel portfolio, WCG has built its management team around industry experts with over 100 years of hands-on experience in operating, marketing and managing hotel assets. Today, WCG is one of the leading companies in the hospitality management business with a results orientated approach which produces bottom line operating numbers that are among the best in the industry.

WCG's management philosophy is to successfully address the needs of the Owner, the employee and the customer. In the long term, a management company cannot succeed if it fails to keep the three constituents evenly balanced in satisfying their objectives.

WCG manages properties by staffing each hotel with highly qualified and capable general managers and sales personnel. We provide the hotel staff with corporate support. Our objective is to give the manager the best opportunity to succeed by providing the tools they need such as training, revenue enhancement modeling, national sales representation, centralized accounting, knowledge and awareness of best demonstrated practices, efficiencies in purchasing, maximum engagement of franchiser provided information and services and many more services.

At WCG the "Owner's" mentality is firmly entrenched in our perspective on management. We believe we are among the best in cost containment and operating efficiencies and our profitability performance with Embassy Suites is evidence of this. We resist "amenity creep" often proposed by those who seek only to improve the revenues without considering whether or not such additions will improve the bottom line. We are proactive in appealing third party costs such as audit fees and property tax valuations. We manage from the top line revenue to the bottom line net operating income. This pursuit of higher profit margins stems from our own ownership of many hotels.

Windsor Capital Group, Inc. approaches the hospitality industry from a unique perspective of in-depth experience in both the development side as well as the management side of the business.

Finally, WCG realizes that our customer has many lodging options to choose from and our continued success depends on a guest's experience that meets or exceeds their reasonable expectations. We work hard to keep the quality of the asset up so as not to disappoint the guest. We utilize our systems as well as those of the franchisor to anticipate their needs.
