History
The Minervas Restaurant Company began with the original Minerva’s Restaurant in downtown Sioux Falls, SD in 1977.

In 1994, Minervas Restaurant Company formed a partnership with the Ramkota Companies- a 50 unit hotel equity company. The partnership was formed to assist the Minerva’s Company future growth plans. This new partnership became WR Restaurants Management, L.L. C. - a restaurant management and consulting company.

Growth
WR Restaurants has grown to over thirteen restaurants and several different concepts for which we plan continued growth. Minerva's Restaurant and Bar is our largest concept, an upscale casual restaurant with a broad-based menu featuring our Steak, Chop, Seafood and Pasta background, same traditional Minerva's style but with a casual appeal both in the dining room and in the bar.

We continue to expand our concepts while keeping our mission to provide a unique dining experience that exceeds our guests’ expectations. Our restaurant concepts are not created in a cookie - cutter fashion. Each location has distinctive features of their own. Our décor packages utilize mahogany, oak or other hardwoods with handcrafted detail work. We also make use of brass, stone, ceramic tile work, antiques, floral displays and specialty wooden flooring throughout the buildings. Some restaurants feature fireplaces in the dining areas, other restaurants display large custom bars and wine displays and several showcase large storefront windows overlooking the river or a championship golf course.

Minerva Restaurant (since 1977) - A traditional, continental menu featuring our classic salad bar and fresh seafood specials along with steaks, pastas, desserts and drinks. Distinctive atmosphere.

Minervas Restaurants and Bar (regional locations) - The menu features steaks, pasta, seafood, salads and more. Casual comforts and distinctive dining. Neighborhood-style bar.

Kahill’s Steak- Fish and Chophouse - A classic American Steakhouse menu. Distinguished décor, overlooking a panoramic view of the Missouri river.

Green Mill - One of the best deep-dish pizza places in Minnesota.

The Phillips Avenue Diner - Old time nostalgia, serving American classics like burgers and shakes.

RedRossa Napoli Pizza - Offering authentic Napoli Pizzas cooked in a wood-burning oven. Located in Sioux Falls, SD and Clive, IA.

Restaurants at Custer State Park Lodges – Located in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. All four Resort dining rooms open in May and close in October.
