The story of Onyx Hotel is Emerging Art.

Since our creation, we've been a contributor to the Boston art scene, supporting and showcasing emerging artists in the realms of visual art, sculpture, fashion, dance and theater. We'd also like you to think of us as a playground for you to find your creativity and expression.

We've infused many unique and fun elements for you to experience Emerging Art during your stay. Through our partnership with Massachusetts Fine Arts (MFA), you will find original artwork that changes monthly. While sipping wine at our nightly reception, you may encounter a speaker from MFA to discuss the arts or even the artists themselves. Dig into your honor bar and pull out the coloring book and crayons to channel your own 'inner artist.' Make sure to ask our front desk where to find art in Boston, they'll create a masterpiece of an itinerary for you.
