The 34 spacious guest rooms and suites at the Omni Bretton Arms at Mount Washington feature private baths, in-room telephones, televisions and high-speed internet access. The intimate dining room of the Inn offers gourmet dinners and hearty country breakfasts, while the cozy fireplace in the parlor offers a quiet getaway. Located just a short stroll from New Hampshire's Omni Mount Washington Resort, the Omni Bretton Arms at Mount Washington offers guests all the amenities of this historic resort, including two scenic golf courses. Enjoy tennis on one of the red-clay courts, take a horseback or carriage ride, swim in our indoor and outdoor pools or simply stroll in the shadow of the magnificent Presidential Range of New Hampshire's White Mountains.

Winter guests will enjoy Bretton Woods, New Hampshire's largest ski area, and 100 kilometers of meticulously groomed cross-country trails at the Bretton Woods Nordic Center. Embark on a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride, go skating, snowshoeing, swimming or just relax in one of the Resort's whirlpools or saunas.

Built as a private home in 1896, The Bretton Arms was first opened to guests in 1907.

For many years, the Inn served as a gracious complement to the larger Mount Washington and Mount Pleasant (1876-1939) Hotels.

Host to a variety of visitors, from snowshoeing parties to chauffeurs, to a distinguished headquarters for the Conference Secretariat during the 44-nation Bretton Woods Monetary Conference in 1944, The Bretton Arms became staff housing for The Mount Washington Hotel and was closed in 1973.

A growing demand for a gracious country inn led to the restoration and reopening of the Bretton Arms in 1986, when it was given its National Historic Landmark designation.
