Marcus Hotels and Resorts is a division of The Marcus Corporation, a Milwaukee based, publicly-traded company comprised of three divisions -- motels, theatres and hotels/resorts. Its portfolio includes: more than 187 motels in over 30 states; over 480 theatres in 4 states, one family entertainment center in Wisconsin and 11 full-service hotels/resorts in 5 states.

Ben Marcus, who founded The Marcus Corporation in 1935, operated his company under the basic tenet of "People Pleasing People." Ben's son, Steve Marcus, continues his father's service-oriented philosophy in his position as President, Chairman and CEO of the Marcus Corporation.
