Having been instrumental in shaping the city's landscape, most notably with the diagonal creation of Market Street and influencing the names of key streets, Jasper O'Farrell helped create a social and commercial city. Jasper O'Farrell was known to have gathered in local watering holes, and enjoyed spending time socializing with his peers and neighbors in the local bars and restaurants.
