Hotel Burnham is not only a landmark "Chicago-style" building and icon, but one in the history of architecture. During your stay, you'll live inside the vision of turn-of-the-century architects Daniel Burnham, John Root and Charles Atwood. Using a radical steel and glass design, they created the Reliance Building ushering in a new era of design, setting the precedent for the modern skyscraper, and forever changing the field of architecture.

You'll notice the ornate architectural element of the quatrefoil not just in the design of the hotel, but perhaps in unexpected places as well.
