History
Davidson Hotel Company is a full-service company providing management,
development, consulting and accounting expertise for the hospitality
industry. The company was founded in 1974 and was purchased by Wilton D.
"Chick" Hill in 1991. Prior to his acquisition of the company,
known then as Flautt Properties, Hill had been its President since 1988.
Hill joined the company in 1978 as Vice President of Development. As
President of Davidson Hotel Company, Hill continues to direct the team of
professionals that has contributed to the company's reputation as a quality
provider of hospitality services.
Company Information
Davidson Hotel Company currently manages 22 hotels across the United States
under such flags as Marriott, Renaissance, Hilton, Radisson and Holiday Inn.
These hotels represent 6,000 rooms and 3,200 employees. Experienced in hotel
development as well, Davidson has developed twenty hotels containing over
2,500 rooms and planned and carried out major renovations at twenty hotels
containing over 5,000 rooms. These projects encompass well over $300 million
in capital improvements.
Organization
All areas are directed from Davidson's headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee.

concentration of management in one central office has enhanced its ability
