As part of our continued growth and development, Noble is seeking G/L Accountant candidates to join our home office central accounting office team. The G/L Accountant is responsible for directing and supervising the accounting process which includes balance sheet accounting, revenue, cash disbursements, payroll and maintenance of general ledgers for multiple hotels in a centralized accounting environment. Safeguards the assets of the hotels and prepares all financial reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principals. Continually monitor and evaluate the integrity of all accounting and financial related activity conducted at the hotel level. Serves as a financial advisor to the Hotel Management teams. Specific duties will include: < Approach all encounters with clients and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner. < Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Noble standards, as required by scheduling, which may vary according to the needs of the Accounting Department. < Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming. < Comply at all times with Noble standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations. < Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times. < Coordinate the flow of information between the hotels and home office in order to affect a timely and accurate monthly financial closing process. < Make all necessary entries to close the books of the hotels on a timely basis. < Maintain reconciliation on all balance sheet accounts. < Serve as the accounting business partner for the hotel by evaluating monthly results and identifying areas of improvement. < Assist with internal and external audits as needed. < Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management. < Attend all meetings/training as required by supervisor or manager. |

| Job Requirements: | |
| Previous 3-5 years General Ledger Accounting experience in a medium to large accounting office. Hospitality accounting experience a PLUS!
Education & Experience: > Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or Hospitality Management. > Three to five years experience in hospitality accounting including financial statement preparation, accounts payable, payroll, and income audit. > Proficient in a general ledger accounting system such as Solomon > Extensive knowledge of computer based front and back of house hospitality systems > Proficient in Windows Office applications > Experience closing multiple hotels in a centralized environment > Strong written and oral communications skills If you are this candidate, please apply thorugh Hcareers or you may review the position and reply on-line at nobleinvestment.com |
